28th Summer Film Festival 4 živly: GENERATION

The 28th edition of the Summer Film Festival 4 živly will take place in Banská Štiavnica from August 6–9, 2026, this time under the theme GENERATION. Once again, the festival will bring a selection of feature, documentary, animated, and experimental films to the big screen, complemented by an accompanying programme for adults and children alike – for all generations!

A total of 100 Cinepasses will be available for sale. They will remain available until sold out, and updates on availability will be published on the website www.4zivly.sk in the Accreditation section and on social media.

The Cinepass system not only allows visitors to purchase a festival pass, but also to reserve seats for individual screenings later, in accordance with the Entry Rules, which will be published before the event. The regular advance-sale price of a standard Cinepass is €25, while the on-site price will be €30. The advance-sale price for the Student Cinepass and the Štiavnica PLUS Cinepass is €20, while the on-site price will be €25.

Due to the crisis affecting state support schemes for cultural events, which has resulted in a reduction of funding for our festival by more than 40% compared to the previous edition, we have introduced an option for those who would like to support the festival through a higher contribution. The Cinepass titled "Festival Fan" is available for €40, and the "Festival Patron" Cinepass for €50. All funds raised through these special Cinepasses will be used to cover production costs associated with organising the festival.

Admission to individual regular screenings without a Cinepass will cost €6. Entry to accompanying events will be free of charge; however, Cinepass holders will be given priority. A Cinepass therefore entitles its holder to access all parts of the festival programme and enables advance reservation of seats in screening venues – particularly recommended for the most anticipated events. Unclaimed seat reservations expire 10 minutes before the screening begins, and in the event of full capacity, entry may no longer be guaranteed even for Cinepass holders.

Vouchers (virtual cards) purchased through the Cinepass.sk platform can be exchanged for coded wristbands at the festival accreditation centre throughout the duration of the event. Refunds for vouchers (virtual cards) purchased during regular advance sales are not available. Should you require any additional information, please contact us at akreditacia@4zivly.sk.

To purchase a CINEPASS (accreditation wristband), you need to log in. If you already have a MyCinepass account from another festival, simply log in using your existing credentials.
