A portrait of the first Czech-Slovak ballroom house, the Kiki House of Velvet. Moments from the lives of the house’s members flow from dance to narrative, from dreamlike to real, from individual to collective. Through glimpses into their everyday lives, the film explores the contrast between the outside world and the safety they find within the house and the community.
