Final Cut is a rather untypical film in Michel Hazanavicius’s body of work. Essentially, it is a joke, a parody, a playful experiment with genres and their overlaps. Above all, however, it is a film within a film — a story about shooting a new movie that spirals into incredible fun and horror.
