One of the best Czech silent movies tells the story of an aspiring actor from the countryside whose life falls apart after he moves to the city – they are not interested in him in the theater and it seems like his wife is cheating on him.

The screening will be accompanied by a concert of three Czech musicians. Johana Švarcová is known for being a member of bands Kazety and Radio Ivo. Jan Kratochvíl represents one half of the musical duo DVA that already performed at 4 Elements several years ago with success. They are joined by Martin Ožvold who is an electro-acoustic experimenter and sound artist.
